OVERVIEW
Our client is looking for a partner or investor to provide the capital for 600 pairs of Skyrunners. This represents one 20ft container of this new craze that is taking the world by storm since the Bejing Olympics in China.
The cost for the initial import is USD $30,000 plus freight costs of roughly R20,000 and the customs and excise. The client will pay the shipping cost/custom and excise and handle the import for which he has a license. You the investor or partner needs to invest R350,000 The partner will receive the stock and hold that as surety.
Our client will draw against that stock and pay cash for the stock used at R1,600 per pair which is also the selling price. Once the initial $30,000 plus interest is recovered the split will be 50/50. This will be used to jointly order the next container
Our client has secured exclusive rights. The investor or partner will have full access to the supplier and import documentation. Worst case scenario the investor or partner may end up with a container full of stock at cost.
A container will sell for R960,000 and the market price will be R1,600 per pair.
